This is the future of kids and fishing... this is 10 different fishing lures being 3D printed comma from a design that was created Halfway Around the World... The true meaning of custom fishing lures

tonight we stopped over at Steamworks in Bridgeton... It's what's called a Makerspace as part of the Cumberland County College... It's a place where adults and youth can come and have access to all sorts of state-of-the-art equipment... 3D printers, laser cutters, the full Adobe Creative Suite, and even the recording studio with a drum kit... If you can dream it, you can come here and build it...

Hooked on Fishing is more than just a program to keep kids busy.... it is engaging the kids in ways that they want to go out on their own and explore. The very best way to do this is by giving the kids new experiences. Today a small group of us got out and went clamming in Strathmere... Ended up with 307 clams total! A huge shout out to Jason at Killer Clam Rakes for letting us try out some of the amazing Rakes those guys make... Check them out on Facebook and show them some love!

Millville Police Athletic League

PAL is based on the conviction that young people - if they are reached early enough - can develop strong positive attitudes towards police officers in their journey through life toward the goal of maturity and good citizenship. The PAL program brings youth under the supervision and positive influence of a law enforcement agency and expands public awareness about the role of a police officer and the reinforcement of the responsible values and attitudes instilled in young people by their parents. Studies have shown that if a young person respects a police officer on the ball field, gym or classroom, the youth will likely come to respect the laws that police officers enforce. Such respect is beneficial to the youth, the police officer, the neighborhood and the business community.

The Millville PAL is holding a coin drop on Saturday Aug 27 and Sunday Aug 28 at the intersection of Buckshutem and Cedarville Rd. Each day runs 7a-7p. We have divided each day to 4 hour slots, 7a-11a, 11a-3p, and 3p-7p. If anyone knows anyone who would be interested in volunteering, please let me know as soon as possible. Thanks.
